Introduction
Invoke Labs, Inc. (“Styr,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates styrfarms.com and the Styr software and services (collectively, the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
We may collect information that you provide to us, including:
- your name, email address, and other account information;
- your company, farm, role, and other organization information;
- messages and files you submit through the Service or send to us;
- billing and transaction information, although payment card details may be collected directly by our payment processor;
- support requests, feedback, and other communications with us; and
- business records and other content you or your organization choose to process using the Service.
Information from connected services
If you connect a third-party account, such as a Google account, we receive information from that service according to the permissions you grant. The information may include account identifiers, profile information, messages, message metadata, attachments, and other content needed to provide the features you request.
Information collected automatically
We may automatically collect device and usage information, including your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, dates and times of access, feature usage, and diagnostic data. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, secure accounts, understand usage, and improve performance.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- process the business records and workflows requested by you or your organization;
- authenticate users and administer accounts, permissions, and organizations;
- communicate about the Service, provide support, and respond to requests;
- monitor performance, troubleshoot problems, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- comply with law and enforce our agreements and policies; and
- carry out another purpose described when information is collected or with your consent.
We do not sell customer data, share it between customers, or use customer content to train models for other customers.
Google User Data
When you connect a Google account, Styr accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data only as needed to provide and improve user-facing features that you request. Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include Gmail messages, headers, labels, attachments, and related metadata.
We may use this data to ingest and organize business records, extract information for your workflows, let authorized users search and retrieve messages, and draft or send communications when an authorized user requests those actions. We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
We share Google user data only with service providers acting on our behalf when necessary to provide or secure the Service, when required by applicable law, or as part of a transaction permitted by the Google API Services User Data Policy. We do not permit humans to read Google user data unless we have your affirmative permission for a specific message or file, it is necessary for security or abuse investigation, it is required by law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Styr’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke Styr’s access from your Google Account connections. You may also contact us to request deletion as described below.
How We Share Information
We may disclose information:
- to your organization and its authorized administrators and users;
- to vendors that host, secure, analyze, support, or otherwise process information for us under appropriate obligations;
- when required by law, legal process, or a valid request from a public authority;
- when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of the Service;
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law; or
- at your direction or with your consent.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.
Service Providers and Analytics
We use service providers to help operate the Service. They may process information only to perform services for us and are obligated to protect it. Our providers may include cloud hosting, communications, security, customer support, payment, software development, and analytics providers.
We use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand site and product usage. You can learn more about Google’s privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the customer’s instructions, and applicable legal requirements.
You or your organization may request deletion of your information by contacting us. We will delete or de-identify information unless we need to retain it for a legitimate legal or security purpose. Deleting information may prevent some features from operating.
Security and International Transfers
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal our response. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
California residents may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources and purposes of collection, the categories of recipients, correction or deletion of personal information, and information about any sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You may manage cookies through your browser settings and opt out of marketing messages using the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. Service and account communications may still be sent.
